10 Great Craft Market Display Pieces for Your Craft Fair Booth | Craft Market Inspiration
This is a follow up to our Craft Market Display Series. See Part 1 here and Part 2 here!
If you have a small business, chances are you’ve spent a good chunk of time researching beautiful pop up, trade show and market displays and daydreaming about making them a reality. I mean, I’ve been doing this for 5 years and I still panic at the beginning of every market season, and worry that what I’m doing won’t be enough. Of course, it always is, but as the boss babes that we are, always want to do the best that we can. Since my products focus around sentimental gifts and home decor, I always try to make my booths feel like a cozy living space, without having to carry in huge pieces of furniture!
Sometimes, that just means you have to get a little creative and look beyond what the display item *might* have been originally intended for. A baby clothing rack used to hang canvas banners on a table top display? A hanging plant holder as a jewellery display? The sky really is the limit if you’re open to switching things up a little bit!
After a few years of putting together my own ever-evolving booth, I’ve compiled a pretty awesome collection of shelves, signage and overall finishing touches to help my booth stand out from my competitors. In true AllyBeth fashion, I’m sharing a few of them here with you today in hopes they make a big impact for your overall booth design too!

Without further ado, here are a few of my favs!
- Emkay Creative | Square Card Reader & Business Card Dock
I fell in love with this display the minute I saw it. I love how it keeps everything you need together in one spot, especially if you are like me and tend to pick something up in one place, and return it to another. This exact thing happens to me with my square reader ALL.THE.TIME. With this, you can easily display your business cards, possibly promotional material and allow the customer to tap their card themselves. It’s a win win. Pssssssst – there’s also a customized version available as well and it can be found here. - Beam Designs | Wooden Card & Earring Display
While I currently do not have this exact card/earring holding, I had a similar one for many years when were were still selling lapel pins (or as the Office Space kids call it, flare). It worked incredibly well and customers loved it. - Little Laser Co | Wooden Price Disks
One of the things I wish I had learned earlier was the importance of having prices clearly (and boldly) marked for customers to see. Since I sell signs, I originally put all the price tags on the backs of my pieces, just like they would in a home decor or gift shop. Turns out, shoppers in an market/craft fair environment are terrified of people behind the table (ok, not always, but it’s pretty common), and they might be too shy to ask or to pick up the sign to look for themselves. Little Laser Co fixes that problem with these sleek and adorable price disks! - LZR Beams | Tiered Jewellery Display
Great for jewellery display, yes, but I have also been known to use similar displays for my smallest wooden hanging signs as well (they hang on twine) and something like this would be perfect! See what I mean about thinking outside the box? Plus, I love the geometric vibe this particular piece gives off. - William Robert Vintage | Industrial Pipe Clothing Rack
Small enough to be portable – and 100% on trend – these clothing racks are perfect for clothing vendors. I love that they are stylish enough to help you create a pop-up or boutique shop vibe, not matter where you are. - Variant Spaces | Solid Pine Clothing Rack
This clothing rack gets two thumbs up when it comes to being portable and space saving. Because we don’t all have giant moving trucks to transport our goods and our displays out to markets on the weekends! I love that this one folds down flat, and have seen it used for children’s clothes, bibs, adult accessories like scarves and t-shirts. - Terra Soliel | Crystal & Jewellery Display Case
Not too much to say about this piece, except that it’s a stunner! Hanging jewellery pieces like this is so much more eye-catching than laying them all on the table. If you can, have extras available to let customers look at up close (and hopefully purchase) so you won’t have to be constantly changing your display. - Mezcla Designs | Honeycomb Display Shelves
I current use two honeycomb shelves (similar to this one) on either end of my display table. They are shorter and blend into my display, while still letting my products shine. I love the one shelf option, and the fact that they are deeper means you can display multiple quantities of a design at once. - Dark Marquee Designs | Stacked Triangle Shelf
I love that this shelf would work perfectly as the centrepiece on a table display. The natural stained wood is complementary to branding that is sleek and clean, making something like this perfect to display bath products, handmade soaps, or even rolled up knitted scarves. It certainly is eye-catching! - CBYM Creative | Hanging Plant (Or Necklace) Display
This is another piece that can be used for so much more than just what it was intended for. I’m drawn to the geometric vibe this piece has as well – which is perfect because it’s so on trend right now. Use it to hang a stunning piece of jewelry, or stack soaps up from the bottom and hang an air plant from the hook at the top!
A Few Tips:
1) Sometimes, items that are meant to be hung (like shelves) work excellent as tabletop displays – as long as they have a flat bottom. Don’t just look in the table or desk decor sections at your local home decor store! I mean, I’m basically giving you an excuse to wander all of the aisles at Target, who can argue with that?!
2) Check out my other posts on putting together a market display booth HERE and HERE. They are by far the most popular posts on our blog, and will help to give you ideas when putting together your own display!
3) Start small and work your way up. The first few times you put together your display, will change drastically from how you do it 1-2 years down the road. If you’re budget conscious like I am, you’ll want to invest in a few good decor pieces at the beginning and then slowly add more as you evolve your brand’s style and personal set up preference. I remember at the very beginning we had a giant wooden wall that we built, and it latest 2 markets before I realized I was far too lazy to want to drag it around with me. #honest
I hope these pieces spark some inspiration for you, and that one of them might work perfectly for that dream market display that you are planning! If you use any of them to round out your booth, please send me a message or leave a comment with your pictures. I would love to see them!
